Who is Kabarifate?

Kabarifate is an artist originally from Rockford Illinois moved to Killeen Texas in the 7th grade and has felt at home to him ever since. Making himself known in Bell County TX with songs like “Night Stand”, “STAY”, “Raising that Bar ft Xavier Kurb”, and “Hopes Up”. I got some great information from Kabari, and I’m excited to learn more and hear more in the near future. Let’s get to know him a little more below!

When did you start making music?

I first started making music in 2019, I started because me and my friend Xavier Kurb would always just get high and freestyle but we never actually tried to make it a song then one day we did it and from then we’ve been doing it ever since.

Growing up what are some things you did for fun?

I used to be inspired by Michael Jackson when I was little I used to do all the dances I just felt like I’m supposed to be doing this. I would go around my neighborhood with my friends and ride bikes or play football in the backyard. I used to climb trees a lot because my backyard was huge.

Who are some artists you grew up listening to?

Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, Kanye, and Eminem

What is the purpose driving you to make music?

Really my drive is I like doing it. it helps me get my feelings out there cuz the music can’t judge you know. If I feel a certain way I can just tell it all to the beat it’s like therapy bro

What’s the story behind your top song “Night Stand”?

I made that song on Garage Band on my phone. In that song, I’m talking about how Kurb and myself would go around and drink things that weren’t supposed to be drunk at the amount we would drink it. Addiction was a problem back then and I express how I think I don’t need the things that get addictive but for some reason, I couldn’t leave it alone. I’m also talking about one of the darkest times in my life back then I used to be so paranoid about dying and how the devil is like coming after me that’s where my name originates I was just so paranoid. I talk about how girls only come around when you provide something valuable to them or if you are somebody, if you’re sad they seem to not care about anyone but them, and then when you don’t have what you provided they leave.

How would you describe your style of music?

I would describe it as my real emotions I don’t know there’s something enticing about showing how I feel in the sad songs I make because someone might be going through the same things and I know when I used to listen to music that would resonate with me I would feel less alone so now I wanna do that same thing for others.

Who are some artists you wish you could work with?

There’s not really one for me like I would love to meet the people who inspire me and form a genuine connection with them outside of the music like cold heart and Tommy Ice for example

Tell us about any new songs or projects you have coming out.

I have this ep coming out on January 20th called “RELAPSE” it’s about falling in love and messing it up and then trying to move on but just not being able to it’s just a compilation of all those emotions I go went when that happened. It’s one of my best works as well.

Anything else you want the audience to know about you?

I’m an alien nothing is real and we all die eventually so live this shit up If you see this I love you and just know you got this.
