Is Abstract Genesis The Next Big Thing Out Of Texas?

For a while, I’ve been following the music of Abstract Genesis since I was taken by his natural singing talent and distinctive voice patterns. Having dropped a handful of singles in 2022 including doing a tour with Deathproof Inc.’s Mazerot and Summer Alone, it seems as though 2023 would be hopeful for Genesis in regard to more music.

To kick off 2023, Genesis has performed at Dallas Restless Music Festival and dropped a track titled Bite My Tongue, bringing us a new and refreshing sound. The faint guitar melody and dark-synth lead mixed with his reverb-added vocals really make this track stand out.

It seems as though 2023 will be the year for Abstract, anticipating his most consistent year since 2020–21.
