What inspired you to pursue a career in music, and how did your upbringing in Laredo, Texas influence your sound?
Growing up There wasn’t much to do in my town there was just a lot of bullshit going on. there were two different sides of music in my family so I grew up listening to a lot of rock and a lot of hip-hop and rap, shit like that. I didn’t really have much else to do aside from listen to the music around me and study it, just hearing different sounds and different artists over time, so that led me in with wanting to create music, it inspired me to more less start creating my own sound.
How would you describe your musical style or genre, and what sets it apart from other artists?
I would describe my musical style or sound as a more hyper pop/glitch core but also throwing some punk sounds in there like more punk style music, or even more early 2000s emo style music What sets it apart from other artists is that it’s a very unique genre blend of music that I’ve seen very few other artist create
Growing up, did you have any musical influences or role models that shaped your artistic journey?
During my upbringing, the people who influenced me, the most, were Knuckle Puck, Pierce the Veil, Alice In Chains, barely human Metallica , $uicideBoy$ & Kesha pretty much a bunch early 2000s/ 2010s upbeat club music different artists would create
What do you hope listeners take away from your music, especially those who may be experiencing it for the first time?
A lot of my music is definitely more upbeat. that goes with a lot of the stuff in the hyper pop scene, but you know the main two things I want to get away from or I want people to get from my music is that you could be able to release your anger and frustrations in an upbeat, happy way and just get rid of it through having fun, listening to the music and resonating with the lyrics and relating to it. I also would hope that the music I make inspires others to make music as well
Who are some artists you grew up listening to?
Ptv, ac/dc, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Iron Maiden, Kesha, lady Gaga, lil uzi vert, lil skies, playboi carti, xxxtentacion, skrillex, suicideboys
Apart from music, do you have any other creative outlets or hobbies that you enjoy?
Fashion, fashion design, snowboarding, art, learning new instruments such as drums piano etc. video games, experiencing different cultures and their food, being around my friends
How would you describe your personal fashion style, and does it influence your music or vice versa?
I would describe my style as a mixture between alternative, street wear, punk, grunge and gothic fashion
Can you recall a funny or memorable moment from your childhood that still influences you today?
Fucking dark just really Freestyling the most stupid shit on Xbox or on like my PS3 with my friends online as a joke and then that actually led on to inspire me make music more
How do you navigate the challenges of being an artist while also maintaining a sense of authenticity and integrity?
I would say that I separate being an artist from my normal every day activities in realizing at the end of the day I’m still just a normal human being, and I want everybody to still treat me just as a normal human being and that helps me stay real and authentic because I don’t feel like I should be worshiped just because I make music. I live in stay in this scene in space with a bunch of other people who idolize these artists but really I’m no different than any of these other people who just come and watch the shows
Do you have any specific goals or milestones that you hope to achieve in the next few years, both personally and professionally?
I would say personally, I want to be able to be in a more happy and comfortable state in my life where I can do all the things I want to do and be able to do things for myself in a healthy way, and professionally with my music, I would at least like to have established my name, a name for myself in the underground scene.
What’s your favorite thing about being an artist, and what’s the most challenging aspect?
I would say the most fun thing about being an artist is meeting a lot of other cool artists that inspire me creatively and want to create new music together, you share your passion for music and work with you and encourage your creativity. I would say the most challenging part about being an artist is just dealing with all the pressure of having to put out good music and not wanting to disappoint your listeners also figuring out how to maintain that sense of creativity and relevancy
If you could perform anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Oh, if I were to perform anywhere in the world, I would probably want to perform in Japan because I really resonate and appreciate their culture with the way it’s influenced my sense of fashion and music
In conclusion, what kind of legacy do you aspire to leave as an artist, and what impact do you hope your music has on the world?
The legacy I would aspire to leave behind is to not be too scared to be a creative person and if you really want to do something then go for it and who is anybody else to tell you that you’re not gonna make it or you will never be shit and that you can’t achieve what your dreams and what you want to do in life, and I hope my music has a similar impact and inspires others to create a new sound, and not just do what everybody else is doing
